We are very excited to present… "The Art of the Blend"!! Please join us for this outstanding offer! (Regular $75 value - seating is limited). Come out and learn the art of blending wine in this fun and hands-on workshop at the beautiful Hillebrand Estate Winery as we work together to create a blended wine in the classic tradition of Bordeaux, France.
Our guest speaker Dieter Unruh (Sommelier - Hillebrand Estate Winery - HEW) will begin with a brief history of the Bordeaux blend and how the art of blending red wines originated. We'll then taste the three principle blending varieties, and break off into small groups to create our own unique mixture. Each team has all the tools needed to make their blend, including wines, measuring equipment, tasting vessels, and a log to record their different proportions and associated observations. You'll even get to name your new blend!!! Custom labels will be created by HEW staff.
Your team will actually bottle the wine (one bottle for each team member). Finally, each team will select a spokesperson, and share the highlights of their blending experience with the other teams. The blends will be "judged" by HEW's sommelier, and the winning team will receive special recognition, at the end of the group presentations.
Each participant leaves with their bottle of wine as a reminder of their unique and unparalleled winery experience.

Hillebrand Estate Winery (1249 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara on the Lake) - Take the QEW towards Niagara. Exit at
38B (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Hwy. 55 exit). Follow off ramp onto Glendale Avenue and continue over QEW to York Road.
Turn left onto York Road. Turn right onto Niagara Stone Road. Hillebrand Estates Winery is located approximately 8 km
