Help us celebrate the women of Ontario's wine industry at this tasting as we discuss women's roles in wine and how they are best able to express themselves through their positions in wine country. The wine industry here in Niagara provides so many rich opportunities, from farming and making the wine, to owning a winery and selling it, to writing and teaching about it, and so much more. These special women have pioneered the way for the ambitious females of the future. Each of our speakers will bring two of their favorite wines for you to enjoy.
- Sue-Ann Staff Winemaker from Pillitteri Winery and 2002 recipient of the Ontario Wine Awards "Winemaker of the Year".
- Donna Lailey: Co-Owner of Lailey Vineyards and first-ever "Grape Queen" of the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival.
- Lydia Tomek: Assistant Winemaker from Jackson Triggs and 2001 recipient of the "Top Winemaking Student" at the Women of Gastronomy Award Ceremony.
- Lynn Ogryzlo: Wine writer and educator and developer of Niagara College's first Winery & Viticultural Technician Program.
Our day will start with a streamlined tour of the Pillitteri's impressive and recently renovated property. As usual, stay afterwards for mingling and delicious nibblies. Hope to see you there!

Road (formerly called Highway 55) for approximately 7 kilometres. Pillitteri Estates Winery is on your
