EastDell Estates Winery Dinner

At The Bench Bistro, at EastDell Estates Winery, 4041 Locust Lane, Beamsville

This year's annual Dinner will be held in EastDell Estates' Bench Bistro. Built entirely of wood and stone from the property, EastDell's rustic dining room provides a beautiful view of the vineyards, Lake Ontario, and on a clear day, the Toronto skyline. This environmentally conscious winery produces great wines, and provides a natural, "get away" atmosphere to enjoy them in.

Our guest speaker will be our Erie-Lincoln MPP, Tim Hudak, an avid supporter of Ontario Wines. Hudak introduced the legislation for VQA stores in Ontario and has been very instrumental in improving regulations to allow Ontario VQA wines to be showcased. Hudak will speak about the latest governmental issues surrounding the wine industry and be available to field your questions.

The menu for the evening will be:

  • Antipasto: With Niagara prosciutto, Genoa salami, pickled baby mushrooms, artichokes and eggplant. Paired with EastDell Estates Pinot Noir 2003
  • Fettuccine di Basco: Fettuccine noodles in a mushroom sauce. Paired with EastDell Estates Unoaked Chardonnay 2002
  • EastDell Estates Cuvee Sorbet
  • Tenderloin of Beef: Topped with foie gras, on a pool of Black Cab jus, garnished with tomato asparagus, turned in thyme potato. Paired with EastDell Estates Red Cab 2002
  • Marcela Ice Cake: Served with fruit and chocolate sauces. Paired with EastDell Estates Ice Wine 2002

Directions: EastDell Estates Winery (4041 Locust Lane, Beamsville). Take the QEW to the Ontario St. Exit (#64) in Beamsville. Turn South (Left) towards Escarpment and continue on Ontario St. until it ends. Turn Right on King Street and go about 1 km to Mountainview Rd.
