To further promote Ontario Wines, the Ontario Wine Society has launched a “Tent Card” initiative that we hope will encourage more restaurants to serve Ontario Wines. The “Tend Card” initiative was piloted by our Niagara chapter a few months ago and has been well received. Because of that, we have decided to expand the program.

The “Tent Card” is a business-sized card that, when folded, can be left on the table or placed with your payment in a restaurant where you had a great meal, but were not satisfied with the selection of Ontario VQA wines either by the glass or by the bottle. It is a polite and tangible way to let the restaurant know your feelings about the lack of Ontario wine.
